Christmas Trees
Each year we arrange for you to choose and cut pine tree(s) from the common for your use.
We ask for a donation which goes to St Joseph’s school to fund those essential add-ons to school life.
This event usually happens on the first Sunday of December. Watch out here for further details for 2026.

Summer Bar-B-Q
This will be held on Friday 11th September at 7 pm.
Follow the road onto the common (beside the Jolly Farmer pub car park) until you see signs for Yew Tree Cottage and Baynards Cottage (approx. 1,500 yards). Bring your own chairs, table, food and drink.
There may be a Bar-B-Q – dependent on the fire risk…..
